Taking the test simulation is one of the best ways to test your device and internet for the remotely proctored CLT! It will also help you become familiar with the remote proctoring steps and interface. Follow the steps below to make sure you’re all set for test day.

  1. If possible, take the test simulation on the same device and from the same location as you will use on test day.
  2. Using Chrome or Firefox as your browser, log in to your CLT account and click the Take a Test Simulation button under Upcoming CLT Test on your main dashboard.
  3. The Test Access Code is Practice. It will be a different code for the actual exam.
  4. Go through the Honor Code and pretest steps. Test Simulation recordings are not reviewed, and you do not need to complete each step; however, we recommend going through the pretest steps exactly as you would on test day.
  5. Once you complete the pretest, you do not need to take the entire practice test. We recommend spending at least 10 minutes on the test portion before clicking submit at the end of section 3 or closing out the tab. You may take the entire practice test if desired.
